From being the number one overall draft pick to elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame — it was a fairytale story of three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Troy Aikman. He is one of only 14 players in the history who has achieved the feat. One of the most successful Cowboys players of all time, Aikman, was also a six-time Pro-Bowler and the MVP of Super Bowl XXVII.
In 2005 Cowboys legend Aikman was inducted to the Hall of Fame. With impressive records in completion, passing yards, and a touchdown passes, he became the winningest starting quarterback in NFL history at the time of his retirement.
In 1993 he signed a lucrative eight-year, $80-million contract with the Cowboys. After retirement, he is now a long-time member of Fox’s top NFL broadcasting team and is reportedly paid $1 million salary annually. Due to all his ventures as a sportsperson, sports analyst, and investor Aikman is able to garner a personal worth of $45 million.
