Sophia Loren – Est. $75 Million
Italian film star Sophia Loren became one of the most recognizable stars in classic Hollywood. At 85, she happens to be among the last surviving members from Hollywood’s Golden Age. The American Film Institute named her as the 21st greatest female star.
The five-time Golden Globe Award winner began her career at the age of 16, in 1950. She started with minor roles here and there, before embarking poignant roles in films like Grumpier Old Men, Marriage Italian Style, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, and A Special Day, among others.
It is estimated that Loren has close to $75 million in her banks and that’s certainly more than enough to live a happy and fulfilling life. Loren’s property in Rome cost her around $10 million. She also loved driving a Mercedes Benz. The Capri Legend Award and the Academy Honorary Award for lifetime achievement that she won at the reputed Hollywood International Film Festival are some recent wins.
