An evergreen actor, Richard Gere is one of those actors who don’t seem to have aged at all in the past few years. Gere is an American actor turned producer who started his acting career in the 1970s with the film, Looking for Mr. Goodbar, followed by a series of hit movies including Days of Heaven, An Officer and a Gentleman, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride and many more.

The actor won 2 Golden Globe Awards and a SAG award for his excellent acting skills. Gere was always a favorite of the paparazzi and was in news for almost everything he did. The actor married three times with two of his previous marriages ending in a divorce. The actor is currently married to Alejandra Silva with whom he shares a baby. The actor follows Buddhism and is a true follower of his highness Dalai Lama from whom he takes guidance for maintaining balance and peace in his life.
