Wanda Sykes and Alex Sykes – Together Since 2008

Wanda Sykes, the star from Black-ish and Will & Grace to Broad City first met her wife in 2006, and Wanda revealed that she first noticed her future wife, Alex on a ferry to Fire Island in New York and she knew that it was love at first sight.

In a sudden change of events, someone introduced Wanda to Alex, who sold granite countertops and the two ladies instantly hit it off and the rest of it is history.

Wanda and Alex privately got hitched in October of 2008, just one month before the Friendsgiving star publicly came out of the closet as she came out in a marriage rally in Las Vegas and after 13 years of being together their relationship is still going strong. The duo celebrated 12-years of weddings in 2020 and Alex shared it on her Instagram handle, expressing her happiness about their more than a decade-long relationship.
