Russell Crowe – 50 Pounds, Tough Workout Regime
The Gladiator star started to gain extra pounds when he entered his 50s. Plus some family issues led him to stress eat & he became quite unfit. But after he was offered a new role, the legendary Hollywood star decided to take care of his body & hired a personal trainer. With balanced diet and training, he is down by almost 50 pounds now. Way to go Mr. Crowe, way to go! He is known to have had to lose or even gain weight for film roles, so weight loss and weight gain is nothing new for Crowe. The peak in Crowe’s physique has still got to be in 2000 when he filmed Gladiator, as ‘Maximus’. Eating protein rich meals six to eight times throughout the day helped him achieve that, but these days he is still in pretty great condition.
