Rollercoaster Ride Called Love
‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ caused the romance to bloom between Moore and Estevez. They did have crushes on each other, but gradually that transformed into full-fledged love. And to put it straight- had it not been for the film’s set, the couple wouldn’t have come so close to each other.
In the later years, when Moore’s autobiography (2019) was released, Emilio was often mentioned, alongside her struggle in tinsel town, fitness plans, and so on. Moore stressed how sweet and attentive he was towards her. But they were in two different spaces- she craved a family, while he was extremely close to his own family. The duo were engaged but decided to call off holy matrimony in 1986.
