Back in early 20’s or late 90’s, parties meant to be a gathering where people greeted each other, share gifts and get drunk. But nowadays, the parties enjoyed by the bachelors are totally different as they try to get other people presents and then leave. Below is the list of parties people enjoy as an adult.
Low Maintenace Or Surprise Parties:
If a party is labeled as ‘Laid Back’, it means that people will come in casual clothes and have a good time with the friends. There will be no special drinks at that party either. The host of the party may well be as chilled as an ice-cold coffee.
Regardless of the number of the people, the host does not need to prepare anything special for the guests. Only half packed snack will do the trick in such parties. Animal hairs will be all over the place and yet no one can find a pet in the whole party.
High Maintenance Or Planned Parties:
Everything that happens in low maintenance parties does not happen in high maintenance parties. These parties are the antithesis of the surprise parties. The host in such parties tries too hard to make the appropriate arrangements and unlike low maintenance party, the host tries that people feel the pressure to have a great time at the party.
There are plenty of boring party games which make people leave their conversation and try to play those games without having interest in them. People in such parties do not drink much and there are two reasons behind it – first the drinks cost a lot and second they want to look sober by drinking less.
Office Or Work Parties:
Partying in a workplace is the most annoying thing as everyone deals with the co-workers he/she hates to deal with. Employees enjoy at their office and yet getting paid for that. The workers also need to talk to their HR colleagues and try to be happy.
Overpriced Parties:
One day, one of the co-workers says she is throwing a party in which there will be plenty of free drinks and snacks. As you already told her that you are free and now you can’t back out of the party. The overpriced party is just a tact by your co-worker to sell you stuff.
There will be plenty of things to be sold like lipsticks, kitchen supplies, and herbal products. No matter you need those things or not, you have to buy one of those things to satisfy the host. At that party, there will be some products which you are forced to buy, so there is a chance to buy those at a higher price.
Baby Parties:
Your pregnant cousin has invited you to a party to reveal the gender of her baby. And now uninterestingly, you have to attend the party for two persons and one of them even not present technically at the party.
You will not be the person who will reveal the gender but a box will be opened by the host and the color of the balloons will determine the gender. And in the end, you will end up clapping for the balloons.
Paty About A Child’s Birthday:
As soon as your colleague has invited you to the birthday party of his/her kid, you will start missing the baby parties because at that time the baby wasn’t present at the party. There is no alcohol in that party and all the singles feel missing at the party.
Life Commitment Parties:
Seniors call such parties “Weddings” as your college fellow has invited you to see him embracing his life partner in front of the bunch of people. Of course, there will be a fancy bar and a dinner but at the same time, you also have to sit through to listen to the longest church sermon.
Personal Parties:
After bearing the awkwardness and stress of friends parties, it’s time to enjoy your own personal party. All the work is dependant on you as you have to gather the food items and make all the party arrangements as you are inviting yourself.
