Donald Rumsfeld and Joyce Rumsfeld – Together Since 1954
Donald Rumsfeld, who was the defense secretary under Presidents George W. Bush and Gerald Ford, is now retired and spending most of his vacations on a gentleman’s ranch in southwestern Montana near the Big Hole River. During his four-decade tenure as a public official, he experienced some of its most volatile eras in American history.
He and his wife, Joyce, met in high school and had been in love with each other from then onwards. Both of them are from Montana itself. Joyce is from Billings, and the pair eventually lived in Chicago, where they met. The pair are currently enjoying their retirement life in Montana after an impressive political career.
The couple now spends time on the farm with their children, six granddaughters, and one great-grandchild. We wish the couple continued happiness in the coming years.
